GSTALT

What is GSTALT?

GSTALT is an automated scholarship and award assignment optimizer designed to help educational institutions distribute awards efficiently and fairly. It originated from Massey College at the University of Toronto to address the complexities of scholarship distribution.

The key feature is that one's entire set of awards is considered in one optimization process, allowing for a more holistic and fair distribution. Whether the each award is partitioned into a fixed number of discrete portions or is a continuous fund pool, GSTALT can handle the distribution while enforcing the eligibility criteria for each award.

The demo software is free to download and free to use, and it is currently being used at Massey for its scholarship programs. For institutions requiring additional features, support, or customization, commercial licenses and services are available.

Who Should Use GSTALT?

GSTALT is ideal for scholarship committees, financial aid offices, and administrators seeking to automate and improve the award assignment process. Whether you manage a small set of awards or a large, complex program, GSTALT can save time and reduce manual errors.
